Server-side tracking for Wix stores
ROASaurus reads paid orders from the Wix eCommerce API and sends them to Meta, TikTok and your other ad platforms. A thank-you page snippet links each order to the ad click.

How Wix connects
- Wix dashboard › Settings › Custom Code › Add Custom Code: place the ROASaurus script in Head, on All pages, loaded once.
- Add a second Custom Code snippet (Body - end, all pages) with the thank-you snippet from your Connection tab.
- Create an API key under Wix account › API Keys with permission to read eCommerce orders for this site. The Site ID is the id in your dashboard URL right after
/dashboard/. Enter both in ROASaurus.
ROASaurus then fetches paid orders every 5 minutes, with a 30-minute overlap so none fall between runs. Duplicates are ignored.
Instant orders with Wix Automations
For instant delivery, create an automation in Wix: trigger Order placed, action Send HTTP request to your ROASaurus webhook URL with all automation data. ROASaurus reads the order id from the request and fetches that order from the API right away. The 5-minute check keeps running as a backup.
Linking orders to ad clicks
Wix doesn't pass the ROASaurus visitor id through checkout. The thank-you snippet listens for Wix's own Purchase analytics event and fires the ROASaurus purchase with the same order id, which links the order to the visitor and their ad click. Without the snippet, ROASaurus falls back to an email the visitor gave earlier on your site, such as in a popup.
What ROASaurus reads from each order
Order number, total, currency, the buyer's email, billing name, phone and address, the Wix contact id, and each line item's product, variant, quantity, price and SKU. Customer details are hashed before they go to ad platforms.
Limits
- Wix orders don't include the shopper's IP address, so the IP fallback isn't available. Add the thank-you snippet.
- Without Automations, orders can take up to 5 minutes to arrive.
- The connector is built from the platform's official API documentation. Press Test connection after saving your credentials, then place a test order and check the Event log.

Do I need Wix Automations?
No. Without it, ROASaurus fetches paid orders every 5 minutes. The automation only makes orders arrive right away.
Why add the thank-you snippet?
Wix does not carry our visitor id through checkout. The snippet fires a purchase with the Wix order id on the thank-you page, which is the most reliable way to link the order to the ad click.
